Weird BUT true

An angry note has never brought so much joy.

“I have a video of you walking away from your car on numerous occasions, you are not handicapped!!” reads a note left on the car of Natasha Hope-Simpson of Halifax, Nova Scotia, who parks in a “handicap” spot. The writer threatened to call cops on her.

Hope-Simpson — who has a prosthetic left leg — said she was “flattered” by the note: “I’ve been working pretty hard on my walk to make it look natural.”

What’s so great about Lake Michigan when it should be called Lake Wisconsin?

“We, the citizens of Wisconsin, feel it’s time for the Great Lake of Michigan to be renamed Lake Wisconsin,” reads a petition started on April 1.

So far, 500 Cheeseheads have agreed to “exclusively refer to it as Lake Wisconsin until every American joins us.”

A Holiday, Fla., teen faces felony charges for stealing a teacher’s school computer password and giving him a new desktop background— of two men kissing.

“If they would have notified me it was illegal, I wouldn’t have done it in the first place,” said Domanik Green, 14, a student at Paul Smith MS.

Here’s one way to a woman’s heart — through her stomach.

A Chinese soldier spent his leave time at home making and freezing a year’s worth of meals for his wife.

“The food he prepared is enough for me for one year, and every time I think of this, my heart is warm,” said the wife, ZhaoMai.

A Croatian man lost his wallet, and made a profit.

Ivica Jerkovic misplaced his billfold 14 years ago, with 2,000 German marks — worth about 1,000 euros today— inside.

The wallet was recently mailed back to him, with 1,440 euros tucked into it.

He believes someone used the money and is now repaying the favor, with interest.
