Gangster faints at slay rap
A Bronx gang member has been busted for the executionstyle slaying of a 14yearold boy during a turf war — but hardly looked like a tough guy when he fainted in court Monday.
Travis Bloch, 28, who is accused of pumping 16 bullets into seventhgrader Christopher Duran as the Bronx teen walked to school last month, passed out as soon as a prosecutor noted that he faces 25 years to life behind bars if convicted.
“He was out cold,’’ said a source at the arraignment.
The Bronx District Attorney’s Office said he “remained on the courtroom floor for several minutes.”
Bloch, who is affiliated of the Bloods gang, was arrested Saturday in upstate Binghamton for pot possession and then linked to the murder through a warrant, officials said. He was charged Sunday night with slaying Duran, whose brother is a reputed Crip.
Bloch was held without bail.
