Henry loves Maggie
HENRY Kissinger ( inset) has nothing but admiration for Margaret Thatcher.
President Nixon’s secretary of state appeared last week at a private club on the Upper East Side in a dialogue organized by the Gatestone Institute.
Kissinger said during the Falklands crisis, when an adviser suggested a compromise, Thatcher snapped, “How dare you utter the word ‘ compromise’ inmy presence?” Thatcher never watched the news on TV or read the papers, Kissinger said, because ecause she didn’t care whatat her critics believed.
