Hit- run bike vic worsens
The woman struck by a hitandrun bicyclist on the Upper East Side last week took a turn for the worse on Monday, her daughter told The Post.
“The doctors are ordering more tests,” said Lily Belfi, 39, whose mom, Mary Grace Belfi, 67, was struck last Tuesday on First Avenue at East 86th Street.
The crash sent Belfi to Weill Cornell Medical Center with severe bleeding on the brain, a broken nose and a broken clavicle. She is now listed in serious condition, according to her nine-months pregnant daughter.
“We should know more in the coming days,” Lily said.
Belfi was walking back to her car from a MuniMeter when she was hit. Her dash cam recorded the sound of the cyclist hitting her.
Cops are reviewing the footage and are looking for witnesses to help identify the cyclist on the Crime Stoppers hot line at ( 800) 577TIPS. Natasha Velez,
