Jeb squirms over Trump

-

GOP candidates are worried about debating Donald Trump because “he’s a media bully and they don’t want to get into a mud fight with him,” according to “Meet the Press” host Chuck Todd. Indeed, after announcing his campaign on Tuesday, Trump targeted Jeb Bush, quipping, “The last thing we need is another Bush.” Sources told Page Six the Bush campwas not happy. But Trump— who confirmed, “We have had some pushback from his camp, indirectly” — added Jeb “needs to grow thicker skin if hewants to run for president.” And, “I think Jeb looks like a nice man, but I call him a reluctant warrior, somebody who seems not to like doing what he is doing. I’m sure the Jeb campaign is not happy with what I am saying. I don’t care if they are happy. Some people would like me to be more politically correct about Jeb Bush, but he has made a lot of mistakes, and his brother has made a lot of mistakes.” At least comics want Trump in the race: Stephen Colbert declared, “Trump’s campaign for president . . . is not just great for America. It’s great for latenight television.”
