Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa ...

WASHINGTON — There IS a Santa — and she does Hillary Rodham Clinton’s hair.

The mystery of Santa’s identity had all of DC talking, since unexplained references to a “Santa” started popping up in emails from Clinton’s tenure as secretary of state.

On Thursday, Santa’s identity was revealed to be Santa Nikkels, who runs a top salon in Chappaqua, where Clinton and hubby Bill have a home.

But Nikkels kept mum on her famous client. “I cannot confirm any of that because I am in business, and my business is very private,” she told The Post.

“My salon is one of the greatest salons in Chappaqua. We take great care of the customers, protect every single [one] here,” she continued, adding: “I love you guys, too.”

According to a review on Yelp from a woman identified as Carol A., “Santa is the best!! Color, cut and amazing blowouts.”

According to emails released by the State Department this week, Clinton wrote longtime aide Huma Abedin on July 6, 2009: “I’m seeing Santa at 8:30 so won’t take off until closer to 9:30.”

Months later, Clinton emailed Abedin about scheduling still more Santa time. “The timing, however, is hard for a visit since I need to see Santa around 7:45 after seeing Lisa,” she wrote on Sept. 27, 2009.

Those emails prompted chatter that “Santa” could be code for a mysterious bigwig who Clinton and her subordinates wanted to keep off the books.

Clinton’s campaign spokesman, Nick Merrill, didn’t respond to a question about whether the “Santa” referenced in government emails was Clinton’s hair dresser.

The emails were among 3,000 that State dumped Tuesday.

?? ?? MUCH A-’DO: Hillary Clinton’s cryptic “Santa” e-mails were revealed Thursday to be references to Santa Nikkels, flanked by Hill and Chelsea.
