Gallin, Fox headed for divorce

-

SANDY Gallin, the music managerturnedinterior designer, and his much younger husband,

Bryan Fox, have split after less than a year and ahalf of marriage, Page Six has exclusively learned. Sources said the couple will file for divorce. They quietly tied the knot in February of last year after five years together. We reported then that Fox and Gallin, who repped such stars as

Cher and Barbra Streisand, were spontaneously married at the Manhattan firm of Gallin’s attorney when they stopped by to plan their nuptials.

They celebrated months later at Nobu Malibu with guests including Ron Meyer, Barry Diller, Diane von Furstenberg, David Geffen, Donna Karan, Calvin Klein and Carole Bayer Sager.

But sources say that just over a year later, Gallin, 74, and Fox, 35, are splitting.

“There was a 40year age difference,” a friend explained. “They truly loved each other. Sandy’s not a frivolous guy. They had this romantic notion they’d stay together, but it was just unrealistic with the age difference.”

The friend said Gallin “had an airtight prenup” and is spending the summer at his home in Amagansett, while Fox looks for a place in LA.

Before they got hitched, Gallin — who has designed homes for Jeffrey Katzenberg, Jimmy

Iovine and Irving Azoff — battled multiple myeloma. He has recovered, and sources said he plans to work more in New York and is back to throwing his “famous dinner parties” in the Hamptons.

“Sandy flew in last week and went straight to a dinner party at Allen Grubman’s,” a Hamptons spy said. “He’s much better. He’s tan and trim. He’s been working with a trainer and looked great.”

“Bryan is a lovely guy, [but] the age difference proved too much,” the spy added.

“They were married legally, and they’re getting legally divorced. Once the excitement of the wedding died down, it took it’s toll. But it’s been amicable.”

In May, Fox had a photo show in LA attended by Gallin and many of his highpowered pals.

Reached for comment, Gallin told us, “We had some great years together, but we have decided to go our separate ways. I wish him all the best.”
