The man pictured above is suspected of robbing a woman at knifepoint in her Woodstock apartment building last month.

The crook pulled a knife on the 46yearold victim in the elevator of her building on Westchester Avenue at about 10:45 p.m. on July 8, cops said.

After a brief struggle, the thug ripped away the woman’s wallet containing cash and a debit card, and the woman dashed out of the elevator on an upper floor, police said.

The suspect is about 40 years old, 5foot7 and 160 pounds.

The victim was not injured in the scuffle.

A 37yearold man was wounded in a shooting early Saturday in Mount Hope, authorities said.

An alleged drunken driver’s night went from bad to worse when he smashed his Lexus into a garbage truck in Briarwood — and in full view of cops, he tried to toss his gun away, authorities said.

Quintel Daison, 27, took a hard left turn from Hillside Avenue onto Sutphin Boulevard at about 3:45 a.m. Saturday and crashed his luxury ride into the back of a private sanitation truck, authorities said.

Two uniformed transit cops witnessed the collision, and when they rushed over, they found Daison allegedly slurring his words and reeking of booze.

He also attempted to wander off from the scene, cops said.

During the encounter, Daison allegedly pulled a loaded .25 caliber Beretta and tossed it under the garbage truck, police said.

Authorities said Daison scuffled with the officers until backup arrived.

Daison, a South Jamaica resident who has prior busts for robbery and aggravated unlicensed vehicle operation, was hit with charges including weapons possession, resisting arrest and DWI.

The two officers and the sanit workers on the truck sustained minor injuries.

The 45yearold victim was near a building in the Astoria Houses on First Street near 27th Avenue at about 3:35 a.m. when a gunman opened fire, cops said.

One round caught the victim in the leg, police said. He was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital in stable condition.
