Five Baruch College students have been charged with murder and the brother of Queens Rep. Grace Meng has been charged with a coverup in a 2013 hazing death, court records revealed Monday.

Andy Meng, 30, of Bayside, is facing four felony counts of destroying evidence and providing false information to lawenforcement officials investigating the case in the Poconos, the records show.

A Monroe County, Pa., grand jury also recommended thirddegree murder charges against five members of the Manhattan college’s Pi Delta Psi chapter, while 32 others face charges ranging from aggravated assault to hazing.

The charges come al most two years after Chun “Michael” Deng, 19, died in a hazing ritual in which fraternity brothers tackled him repeatedly in the freezing December cold.

Deng, of Oakland Gardens, Queens, was blindfolded, weighted down with a backpack filled with 30 pounds of sand, and forced to run a gantlet during what police say was a fraternity ritual called the “glass ceiling.”

Deng wasn’t taken to a hospital until 90 minutes after losing consciousness.

Meng, the younger brother of the Flushing Democrat, was serving as national president of the fraternity when he allegedly received calls from fraternity brothers frantic because Deng was having trouble breathing.

According to WFMZ in Pennsylvania, Meng told them to hide items bearing the fraternity’s name.

About 30 members of Pi Delta Psi had spent the weekend at a rented house Tunkhannock Township, Pa. Deng was one of four pledges.

“This is one big step to obtain justice for the family resulting from the tragic and preventable death of Michael,” Doug Fierberg, an attorney representing the victim’s family, told WBRETV.

Rep. Meng’s office declined to comment.
