Rocker Roger, wife splitting

-

PINK Floyd legend Roger Waters has split with his wife, Laurie Durning, whom he married in 2012 after living together for 10 years.

Sources say the 72yearold British rocker and filmmaker Durning, who live in Manhattan and the Hamptons, have recently been spending more time apart.

The famously cantankerous rock star has been busy working on a solo album and promoting his new movie, “Roger Waters: The Wall,” while Laurie remained in the Hamptons this summer.

A source tells us, “Laurie has been telling friends in the Hamptons that they are divorcing. Things haven’t been good for a while.”

A divorce could be expensive: Waters owns a 7,000squarefoot East 61st Street townhouse he bought for $15 million in 2007. He also owns a mansion with Laurie in Bridgehampton, which they bought in 2010 for $16.2 million. Waters is said to be worth around $185 million, but other estimates put it much higher.

But the couple does have a prenup, Waters revealed after he married Durning at their Hamptons home in 2012. He told Howard Stern’s radio show after the secret nuptials, “Well, actually, I need to bring you up to date, because I just got married on Saturday to Laurie, she’s gorgeous . . . Yeah, I couldn’t be happier. We did [the prenup]. We’ve been living together for 10 years, I think we sort of know now that we like getting up together in the morning and going to bed at night.” Neither Waters nor Durning responded to our numerous requests for comment.

Waters left Pink Floyd in 1985 but lost his lawsuit over the band’s name two years later. But in recent years he has performed classic Floyd albums “Dark Side of the Moon” and “The Wall” on solo tours, and has reunited with Dave Gilmour and Nick Mason for performances in 2005 and 2011.

Waters’ next solo album has yet to get a release date, but it reportedly will be followed by a tour and an autobiography. “Roger Waters: The Wall,” to be released worldwide Tuesday, combines concert and documentary footage and interviews.
