Emptyhande­d after a robbery try at a Chase bank, a suspect (inset) succeed 25 minutes later at a Chase branch nearby and walked away with $1,175.

The failed heist went down at 2:55 p.m. Friday at the branch at Sixth Avenue and West Fourth street in Greenwich Village.

The crook passed a note to a teller reading, “Don’t turn around. I have a gun,” police sources said.

“I don’t understand this,” the teller replied. The wouldbe robber fled emptyhande­d.

Undaunted, at 3:20 p.m. he entered the branch at West Fourth and Grove streets.

This time, he passed a threatenin­g note and demanded cash from a teller, who handed over $1,175.

He’s about 52 years old, 5foot7 and 190 pounds.

An alleged cellphone thief tried in vain to hide from his pursuers Saturday in a catering hall next door to iconic Harlem soulfood joint Sylvia’s, witnesses and police sources said.

Anthony Johnson, 22, allegedly filched the phone from a fellow resident at the Create Inc. young adult homeless residence on West 128th Street near Lenox Avenue at about 8:30 a.m., cops said.

Two men from the shelter chased the suspect down Lenox, where he ducked into a parking area between Sylvia’s and its nextdoor banquet hall, called Sylvia’s Also, witnesses said.

He found an unlocked service door, ran down to the basement and locked himself in a restroom, workers said.

Cops were called, and Johnson gave himself up after 20 minutes, said lawenforce­ment authoritie­s.

He was charged with criminal possession of stolen property.

Queens

The four suspects pictured above held up a Richmond Hill barbershop at gunpoint, authoritie­s said.

The men, two of whom were wielding guns, stormed into the Honey-Comb Barbershop on Liberty Avenue near 132nd Street just before 7:20 p.m. on Sept. 21, police said.

They forced a 27yearold worker into the basement, where they swiped his cellphone, iPad and about $52 cash, cops said. He wasn’t injured. Investigat­ors recovered the surveillan­ce photo of the suspects from a bodega down the street.

The Bronx

A 25yearold man was wounded in a shooting Friday in Claremont Village, but is refusing to help investigat­ors find his assailant, police sources said.

The man was shot in the arm and on Webster Avenue near East 169th Street at 9:05 p.m., cops said.

The victim was rushed to Lincoln Hospital.
