Chef in kid-sex arrest
A notable Upper West Side chef had sex with a Bronx highschool boy in a Best Buy parking lot, then shared videos of the encounter online, authorities charged Thursday.
Matthew Tivy, who runs the bistro Cafe Du Soleil and has appeared on the Food Network, also took advantage of five other underage boys, according to federal court papers.
He pleaded not guilty in Manhattan federal court to charges of sex with a minor and distribution of pornography, and was held pending trial.
Tivy was first busted in May for allegedly having sex with the teen.
“That was really fun!” he allegedly texted the boy on Dec. 30. “Even though you were very bad not to tell me how young you are haha but I didn’t mind ;p.”
Tivy allegedly asked the 14 or 15yearold student for two videos of the hookup and shared them on a messenger site called Kik.
