De Blasio will speak in Israel
Mayor de Blasio will visit Israel this month and give a speech in Jerusalem, officials announced Thursday.
De Blasio will deliver a keynote address at the Annual Conference of Mayors on Oct. 18.
The jaunt is being paid for by Baruch Eliezer Gross, founder of the Jerusalembased venture capital firm Besadno. The NYPD will provide security for de Blasio, and Gross will foot the bill for travel and lodging.
