‘Psyched’ out of $1M by dad’s gal pal: suit

- Julia Marsh

A Morgan Stanley banker is suing his dad’s exgirlfriend, saying she used her skills as a shrink to convince the dying man to disinherit him out of more than $1 million.

In his Manhattan lawsuit, Gary Offner says Dr. Mary Ann Lang, his late father Eric Offner’s ex, suddenly reappeared when the dad was dying of cancer.

Lang “utilized her training as a psychologist and her aggressive, cold, calculation and manipulative personality to unduly influence Eric Offner, causing him to disinherit Gary Offner and to turn over the bulk of his estate to Mary Ann Lang,” the suit says.

Lang also fired the dad’s personal chef, even as Eric was “becoming increasingly thin,” court papers state.

She claimed Eric, a trademark attorney whose clients included Liberace, was broke. He died at 86 in 2014.

A 2007 will left about $1.3 million to Gary, 48, but it was altered in 2013 to give nearly everything to Lang, 74. She denies the claims in court papers.

Her lawyer, Alan Scott, told The Post, “[Gary] is very wealthy and [Eric] felt his son didn’t need financial support. We have a ton of proof that Eric knew what he was doing.”
