35 yrs. for killer heroin
An upstate man was sentenced to 35 years behind bars Thursday for selling ultrapotent “Breaking Bad”branded heroin that killed three people, authorities said.
Dennis Sica, 37, pleaded guilty in April to heroin conspiracy after he sold the drug laced with the synthetic opioid fentanyl to three ad dicts, who then suffered fatal overdoses, Manhattan federal prosecutors said.
The men had small plastic bags stamped with the words “Breaking Bad” near their bodies when they were found, and Sica had the same bags in his car when he was busted in 2014.
He was sentenced in White Plains.
