Sharks chomp two in Hawaii

HONOLULU — Two men were seriously injured Saturday in separate shark attacks off the Hawaiian island of Oahu, authorities said.

A 44yearold swimmer was wounded shortly before noon Saturday in a shark attack off Lanikai beach, according to local reports.

Then, at about 7:20 p.m., a shark bit a 32yearold man’s left foot in the water off Waikiki beach, reports said.
