JETS BLITZ

- by Zach Braziller

HERO

Bulldozing running back Chris

Ivory ran for more than 100 yards for a second straight game for the first time in his six-year career. Ivory ran for 146 yards on 20 carries — two weeks after he ran for a career-high 166 yards — good for a whopping 7.3 yards per carry. He also added three receptions for 50 yards.

ZERO

Robert Griffin III has to be better than Kirk Cousins, who was picked off twice (both coming on poor decisions), and completed just 25 of 43 passes for 196 yards. Cousins has now thrown multiple interceptions in four of the Redskins’ six games. No wonder they are a dismal 2-4, all alone in the NFC East basement.

UNSUNG HERO

Darrelle Revis made the play of the game, an interception deep in Redskins’ territory early in the third quarter that led to an 18-yard Ryan Fitzpatrick touchdown run. Revis’ third pick of the year swung the game’s momentum, giving the Jets the lead for good shortly thereafter.

KEY STAT: 1

Number of Jets penalties, a key talking point after committing 14 for 163 yards in their previous game, a win over the Dolphins in London.
