Meet the generous Mets

-

AMID reports the Mets could be looking at a $45 million windfall if they make it past the Cubs, the owners have been spreading some of the love to employees. A spy said the team’s given all fulltime staffers two tickets each for all home playoff games, while execs at “VP and higher levels” are getting to travel with their spouses to road games, all expenses paid. Team scouts and minorleague field personnel were flown in to see the first two home games against the Dodgers and put up in hotels. “They’ve been very generous,” said a source. The Post reported that before the playoffs, the team was set to lose almost $10 million this year.
