Scion brings Vegas fling home

-

HE didn’t follow the golden rule: “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.”

Park Avenue socialites are buzzing over a married blueblood privateequity manager who had a Sin City fling — and then foolishly moved his mistress to New York to carry on the affair in plain site.

Ian Snow — son of former US Treasury Secretary John Snow, who runs his own Madison Avenue firm overseeing $1.5 billion in assets — developed a relationship with a woman he met on a trip with guy pals in Vegas this year, but then carried on the affair back home by putting his mistress up in New York.

Multiple sources told Page Six that the passion ate affair quickly became the worstkept secret on the gossipy Upper East Side.

“He met this woman this year in Las Vegas,” said a source, and then “put her up in Manhattan for several months in the late spring and early summer.”

Rumors among the Maidstone Club set burbled that the besotted banker had even “bought his girlfriend a pink Bentley” over the summer. However, while a pal of Snow’s told us the money man indeed had given the woman “a nice car,” it was neither pink nor a Bentley.

The summer fling fizzled by the end of August, we hear, when Snow came clean about his snow job. He and his wife have since been “dealing with it amicably and appear to have reconciled,” said the friend. “They have been seen together at multiple events this fall.”

Snow and wife Mary — staples on the Manhattan and Hamptons society gala circuit — were photographed together last month at the Park Avenue Armory Gilded Gala, the Museum of the City of New York’s New York After Dark gala and Society of Memorial Sloan Kettering’s Special Projects Committee Annual Dinner. Snow’s business partner, Ogden Phipps II, is in the Vanity Fair International BestDressed List Hall of Fame.

“They always look so happy together,” sighed a socialcircuit regular of the Snows. A rep for Ian and Mary declined to comment.
