Cops nearly broke up a gambling ring — of four women, ages 87 to 95, playing a dangerous weekly game of mahjongg.

Lee Delnick, Bernice Diamond, Helen Greenspan and Zelda King told the Heritage Florida Jewish News they were stunned when cops raided their lowstakes game.

King blamed a “troublemak­er [who] lives in Building 11” at their Escondido condo. Cops said the games can resume after Thanksgivi­ng.

A Georgia man stole a truck full of beer only to be foiled by his failure to park.

Gregory Miller, 55, allegedly hijacked a Coors Light delivery truck from a Circle K gas station in Columbus Monday. He drove a short distance and fled the vehicle without putting it in park. The truck ran over Miller’s ankle before he was arrested and taken to the hospital, police said.

A service tech at a Fort Worth, Texas, car dealership found a $50,000 cash stash in the trunk of a Mercedes that had just been traded in. The honest employee, Juan Ibarra, immediatel­y called his bosses at Park Place Motorcars, fearing the money could be related to crime.

It was. Sort of. The cash was left by a bail bondsman, grateful to get it back.

Someone near Carmichael, Calif., is entitled to $671,000 and might not know it.
