TOM BRADY is still the No. 1 fantasy quarterback from a statistical perspective, heading into Week 12. But that is taking into account the numbers he has generated for the season already, most of that production before he lost Julian Edelman for the year.

With a matchup against the best defense in the league, his top target in Edelman’s place, Danny Amendola, is trying to recover from a sprained knee in time to face the Broncos on Sunday night, and is listed as questionable. But with the evening start, we may not know of his availability for certain until after the afternoon kickoffs.

If you want peace of mind at wide receiver and have an alternative of similar value, it may be safer just to plan to reserve Amendola if the picture is not clearer by Sunday morning.

Aaron Dobson (ankle) went on IR this week and Keshawn Martin (hamstring) is iffy. Brandon LaFell could see an expanded role, but he is not quite dependable. Chris Harper only recently was promoted from the practice squad. Amendola is the only Pats WR who should get strong fantasy consideration.

The bigger concerns are Brady and tight end Rob Gronkowski. You cannot bench Gronk, but reserving Brady because of his receiving issues and the matchup is not crazy.

Brian Hoyer is an alternative who is somewhat popular this week as he faces the awful Saints pass defense. Eli Manning and Blake Bortles also deserve consideration over Brady, too. Running back Charca nd r ick

West (hamstring) is very i ff y for Kansas City. Spencer Ware, a tough inside runner who scored two TDs in relief last week, is a quality replacement as an RB2 type.

Chiefs TE Travis Kelce reportedly “tweaked” his ankle in Friday’s practice. Heath Miller and Jacob

Tamme are two possible replacements to consider if needed.

Dolphins WR Ja r v is L a ndr y (knee) did not practice on Friday, though coach Dan Campbell said he expects him to play. If Landry can play, he will face a Jets defense without

Darrelle Revis and should get starting fantasy consideration.
