Beckham’s Giant Rage: Can It Be Justified?

THE ISSUE: The NFL’s decision to suspend the Giants’ Odell Beckham for his controversial hits on the Carolina Panthers.

-

So Beckham is a big jerk for standing up for himself when he was being manhandled by the entire Carolina Panthers defense (“Giant Jerk,” Dec. 21)?

If the referees had done something during the Giants’ initial drive and penalized Josh Norman after he preformed a WWE move on Beckham, maybe it wouldn’t have escalated to the point where he took matters into his own hands.

If the NFL isn’t suspending Tom Brady for cheating, then Beckham shouldn’t be suspended for defending himself.

Maybe if the Giants defended him as they would have in the Super Bowl years, he wouldn’t have acted like he did.

The problem with the Giants is that they have no backbone.

What New York Giants’ Odell Beckham Jr. did in Sunday’s game was welldocumented on television and in The Post.

As long as he learns something good from it, he’ll be a better person and player.

I’m sure we all went through the same things in our lives — it’s called being young and stupid.

Ann and Wellington Mara, the previous Giants owners, must be spinning in their graves after the thuggish display of Beckham.

He’s the face of their franchise and just another example of today’s overpriced, overhyped, MTVloving, ESPN highlight players. You’d never see this from Derek Jeter.

Tom Coughlin should stay as head coach.

The Giants’ losses aren’t because of their coaching.

It’s not Coughlin’s fault Jason Pierre Paul got hurt or that Victor Cruz didn’t play well.

Coughlin makes the right lastminute decisions.
