Cops are looking for a man (above) who allegedly shot two young people in East New York on Christmas Day.
The man approached a group of people in front of an apartment building near Pitkin Avenue and Barbey Street and fired multiple rounds at about 3:30 p.m., striking a 17yearold woman and 20yearold man, both in the leg. Two women ages 81 and 53 were peppersprayed — and the younger victim pushed to the ground while wrestling for her purse — during a mugging in Bay Ridge, police sources said Sunday.
The younger woman’s arm was injured in the struggle in front of 22 82nd St. at about 11:45 a.m. on Saturday. The mugger fled with her purse.
Both women were treated at Lutheran Medical Center.
A robber held a gun to a customer’s head while demanding cash from a clerk at an East Flatbush discount store, police sources said Sunday.
The clerk at Nostrand Discounts at 1705 Nostrand Ave. forked over $3,000 at about 5 p.m. on Saturday. The robber also took $860 from two customers.
A 44yearold man was suckerpunched at a Ditmas Park subway station by an attacker who then spewed racial remarks at another person, cops and the victim said Sunday.
Randy Aveille, 44, told The Post that he had just gotten off the subway at the Church Avenue station with his fiancée when a man came from behind and began hitting him in his face.
“I was blindsided by a guy who started hitting my face,” Aveille said.
He said his fiancée heard the man say, “Watch who you look at!”
Aveille said a blond woman tried to get the attacker to stick around but he refused.
“He spat in [the woman’s] face and said, ‘You don’t belong here. This is a black neighborhood,’ ” Aveille said. Police are seeking three men who robbed a Flatbush store at gunpoint.
The men (inset) threatened the clerk at the Caribbean Air Mail store on Avenue L at around 6 p.m. Friday while demanding cash. The cashier handed over $5,921.
Cops have arrested two teens wanted in the assault on a postal worker in Fort Greene.
Joshua Ruiz, 14, and Keeshawn Ruan, 16, were arrested in the attack, which happened at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday at 700 Fulton St., according to police sources.
The 50yearold victim was wearing his Postal Service uniform and performing his official duties when he was assaulted, the sources said.
He received stitches at Brooklyn Hospital.
The Bronx
A teenager was shot in the arm during a dispute with four men in Melrose, according to lawenforce ment sources on Sunday.
Jonadell Diaz, 17, was wounded by a bullet at about 7:15 p.m. Saturday at 602 Morris Ave., the sources said.
He was treated at Lincoln Hospital.
n Crooks stole $5,500 from a safe inside a Burger King in West Farms, police sources said Sunday.
The two men broke into the restaurant at 961 E. 174th St. at around 1:40 a.m. Saturday, according to the source.
Manhattan
n Two men have been charged with shooting a man in the leg in Harlem, police sources said Sunday.
Kevin Edwards, 39, was shot at 71 St. Nicholas Ave. about four blocks north of Central Park at around 12:30 p.m. Saturday and taken to St. Luke’s Hospital for treatment, the sources said.
Police arrested Tyrell Hicks, 22, and Nyame McLoud, 25, according to the sources.
