BAT OUTTA HELL

Mets star’s new hot rod

Make vroom for Yoenis! Mets slugger Yoenis Cespedes arrived at the te a m’s Florida facility yesterday in this tricked-out, Bat mobile-style ride that’s the talk of spring training.

Mets slugger Yoenis Cespedes looked like he was itching for a trade to Gotham City on Tuesday, as he rolled into the Amazin’s springtraining camp in a hightech ride straight out of “Batman.”

The star outfielder had jaws dropping at Tradition Field in Port St. Lucie with his redandgray Polaris Slingshot, an opentop threewheeler that stole the show from other pricey sports cars his teammates arrived in.

“Guys love toys,” gushed Mets manager Terry Collins. “Some people like technology stuff. He likes cars. It’s cool, huh?”

Cespedes decorated his Batmobilestyle trike — which retails for a base price of $21,499 and can reach 130 mph — with his uniform number 52 in red on the hood.

He also added custommade seats with carbonfiber leather, a trickedout air suspension that lifts the Polaris up to 6 inches off the ground and a dashboard that houses a 9inch screen with Bluetooth, video and GPS navigation.

It even has a 12speaker surroundsound system. With all the modifications, the total cost of the Polaris was $68,000, according to Alex Vega of The Auto Firm, which customized the ride. “He chose a style he liked, we drew it out and had the wheels custom made,” Vega said.

The Polaris, which is technically a motorcycle and not a car, isn’t the only hot vehicle owned by the 30yearold slugger. Cespedes, who recently signed a threeyear, $75 million contract, also has a Ford F250 truck with monster wheels and a Lamborghini Aventador sports car that is worth $480,000.

Though Cespedes’ new ride was the talk of training camp, not everyone was fawning.

“I’d run over it with my truck,” Amazin’s teammate Zack Wheeler joked.
