Hotelier headed to TV show
VIKRAM Chatwal — the high-flying hotelier behind Manhattan’s Dream Midtown and the relaunched Time hotel — is getting his own reality show, sources told Page Six. We hear that the show, made by TV studio Lionsgate, will follow Chatwal and a posse of his pals. Sources said its producers include the same team who made a 2010 TV series about socialite Tinsley Mortimer called “High Society.” Beyond his hotels, Chatwal’s certainly been known for having a colorful life. He’s been close pals with Lindsay Lohan and briefly dated supermodels Gisele Bündchen and Kate Moss. In 2014 he accused another supermodel, Esther Cañadas, to whom he was once engaged, of bolting for Mexico with the 8-carat emerald-and-diamond ring he’d bought her (worth $300,000) after they split. He was arrested in 2013 for drug possession at Florida’s Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport, but the case was later dismissed after he finished rehab. Lionsgate declined to comment on the TV show, and Chatwal didn’t return a request for comment.
