THE off-B’way musical about James Cagney? A letter from Norma’s Jeans, a memorabilia house which sells Marilyn Monroe autographs, original “Star Trek” caps, etc., says: “We have Cagney’s shorts with appropriate authentif ication.”
The purple and gold boxers came from his 1992 NYC estate auction, and the letter suggests: “With this item you could launch your own Men’s Underwear Museum.”
May Robert Creighton, who plays Cagney, rush in and try them on for size.
