Weird but true

A man allegedly vandalized five cars in a South Brunswick, NJ, driveway, believing he was settling a score with a rival who was dating his ex-girlfriend.

Kelkar, 20, was charged with trespassing and criminal mischief.

The owner of a rental home in Portland, Ore., recently evicted a mom and son, then found an amazing 50,000 pounds of trash all over the property

“Full of old furniture, mattresses stacked up . . . four or five mattresses,” said owner Braheem Hazeem. “You could not even open the door.”

Hazeem blamed himself, in part, for not keeping a better eye on the property.

A Petaluma, Calif., break-in suspect could blame the devil for his bust.

Witnesses to an attempted car and home burglary said the suspect had distinctive tattoos of devils horns above his eyes, police said.

The description led them to Jacob Catlin, 29. Speaking of the devil . . . A Canadian motorist had to fork over his personalized plate that said, VI6SIX.

The DMV feared it was a demonic shout-out, offensive to Christians.

But Daniel D’Aloisio, 42, insists it’s a tribute to his late father, a rabid Montreal Canadiens fan.

“VI” is short for “vie,” French for life, he said, while the “6” is a tribute to the 1976 Habs title team. The “SIX” stands for the six Stanley Cups Montreal won in years after D’Aloisio was born and before his dad died.
