Syndergaard, who opened the season 2-0 with a 0.90 ERA in his first three starts, has lost two straight — though the Mets have scored one run combined in those two games. In his last three starts, he’s 0-2 with a 4.42 ERA.

DODGERS:

A 28-year-old rookie from Japan, Maeda has been a revelation for the Dodgers. Third in the NL in ERA entering Tuesday, Maeda opened the season 3-0 with a 0.36 ERA in his first four starts. He’s coming off a no-decision against the Blue Jays, when he allowed two runs in six innings.
