Queens

The suspect pictured above is wanted in the theft of a laptop computer in Astoria, police said.

The victim left her laptop on a ledge in the lobby of a building in the Ravenswood Houses on 12th Street near 35th Avenue at about 12:20 p.m. on June 24, cops said.

He grabbed the computer as he was entering the building and fled somewhere inside the complex, investigat­ors said.

The suspect is described as 40 to 50 years old, 5-foot-8 and 160 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, dark-colored pants, black sneakers, and a black do-rag and was carrying a black backpack.

Manhattan

A handicappe­d man was slashed in front of his 7-year-old autistic son after getting into a tiff with a stranger at a Lower East Side subway station and following the man to Brooklyn aboard a train, cops said.

The 45-year-old victim, who walks with the aid of a cane, was entering the Delancey Street station with the boy at about 6:30 p.m. Sunday when he asked a man blocking the turnstile to step aside so they could get by, investigat­ors said.

The suspect got belligeren­t, said he wasn’t going to move, grabbed the victim’s cellphone and threw it to the ground, cops said.

The suspect fled onto a Brooklyn-bound F train, police said.

The victim and his son followed the man onto the train, riding one car behind him, police said.

The victim confronted the suspect at the Myrtle Avenue station and, wielding the cane, commanded that he wait there while transit police were summoned, cops said.

But the suspect pulled a boxcutter and slashed the victim on the cheek, investigat­ors said. He was not seriously hurt.

Police are continuing their search for the attacker.

A sharp-eyed straphange­r led cops to a teenage boy who sexually assaulted a 6-year-old girl in the stairwell of a Lower East Side apartment building, police said.

Christian Pena, 17, walked into a building on Henry Street at about 8 p.m. Saturday, approached the girl in a firstfloor stairwell, exposed himself and rubbed up against her, cops said.

Two days later, Pena was onboard a 2 train when he was spotted by a straphange­r who recognized him from surveillan­ce video of the assault and alerted uniformed officers nearby, police sources said.

He was taken into custody and later charged with criminal sex act, sex abuse and acting in a manner injurious to a child younger than 17, police said.

Brooklyn

A 22-year-old motorist told cops that a man with whom he wasn’t acquainted threw fireworks into his car in Bedford-Stuyvesant and then shot him in the chest, police sources said.

Cory Webb told cops he was driving at Rockaway Boulevard on Monday when the suspect tossed lit fireworks at him, the sources said.

Webb began chasing the assailant, who then pulled a gun and shot at him, the victim said.

Webb was rushed to Brookdale Hospital with a chest wound, and was expected to survive.

Police are searching for a man who was caught on camera vandalizin­g an ATM machine at MCU Park in Coney Island.

The suspect (pictured) damaged the cash dispenser at the home of the Brooklyn Cyclones at 1904 Surf Ave. at about 11:10 p.m. last Thursday, cops said.

The suspect was last seen wearing a blue V-neck T-shirt.

The Bronx

Two robbers woke up a 19-year-old man who had been asleep on the porch of his Fordham Manor home and robbed him of his chain, cops said.

The suspects roused the victim at about 5:30 a.m. on June 22 on Decatur Avenue near East 198th Street, authoritie­s said.

After talking to the victim for several minutes, the suspects swiped his chain and fled on foot, cops said. The victim wasn’t harmed.

Both suspects were described as slim with black hair and medium-dark complexion­s.

Staten Island

Cops arrested a man who allegedly tried to rape a woman jogging through Livingston on the Fourth of July.

Denis Hernandez approached the 39-year-old woman on Richmond Terrace, covered her mouth and attempted to drag her into a secluded wooded area at about 9:05 a.m., police said.

The woman broke free and flagged down officers, who canvassed the area and found Hernandez nearby, cops said.

Hernandez, 39, was charged with attempted rape, assault, kidnapping and unlawful imprisonme­nt, police said.
