A teenager was roused from her sleep and sexually assaulted by a house painter who broke into a tony Southampton home, officials said Saturday.

Marvin Saul Siciliano-Nunez, 20, is being held on $2 million bail after being charged with burglary, sodomy and sexual abuse.

Siciliano-Nunez (right) told Southampton Village Court Judge Barbara Wilson at a hearing Saturday that he accepts that he’ll be jailed while awaiting trial.

“I could never pay that amount of money,” Siciliano-Nunez said. “I’d rather go to jail.”

His alleged crime shocked residents of the East End resort town.

“Mother of God, what’s going on around here?” exclaimed a longtime resident who told The Post she witnessed police combing for evidence outside the multimillion-dollar home.

Police say that at about 8 a.m. Friday, Siciliano-Nunez entered the property on Little Plains Road, a hedgerow-lined street that runs from downtown Southampton to the ocean.

Siciliano-Nunez looted jewelry, a cellphone and a skateboard from the home’s pool house, cops said.

He then made his way into the main house, where he encountered the 19-year-old victim asleep in bed, police said.

Siciniano-Nunez allegedly choked and sexually assaulted the woman and threatened more harm if she didn’t cooperate.

The woman escaped from her assailant and ran outside naked. Nunez allegedly chased her with a baseball bat.

Cops were alerted and gave chase. They soon spotted the suspect walking along Meeting House Lane near the crime scene.

Sicinano-Nunez led cops on a brief foot chase before he was cuffed.

Hamptons authorities say Nunez has been employed for eight months as a house painter with Diego’s Painting, which has contracts in the area.

Authorities believe Siciliano-Nunez, who was busted in May on charges of gang assault, is a member of the MS-13 gang.

“There were a ton of cops all over,” said the witness, who said she wasn’t surprised the assailant is a suspected gang member.

“You can’t tell who they are because they’re friends of the trade people who work here.”
