The suspect pictured above posed as a city fire inspector to con a Checkers restaurant in Highbridge out of $674, cops said.

He conducted a bogus inspection at the fast-food joint at Jerome and Cromwell avenues at about 4:20 p.m. on Sept. 6, demanded and received the cash and departed, police said.

He was wearing a blue Tshirt and blue jeans, and at one point donned a blue baseball cap.

A drunken school safety agent was arrested after leaving the scene of an accident in Mott Haven early Saturday, cops said.

Heriberto Lopez, 59, crashed his Honda sedan while exiting the Bruckner Expressway at East 138th Street at 1 a.m., police said.

He then drove away as a witness called cops to give a descriptio­n of the car.

Cops stopped Lopez a half-mile away at Crimmins Avenue and East 141st Street, and noticed he reeked of booze and was slurring his words.

He failed a Breathalyz­er test and was cuffed, and soon was hit with charges of DWI and leaving the scene of an accident.

A crook stole a cellphone from a 66-year-old woman in Soundview, cops said.

At 11:40 a.m. Wednesday on Bronx River Avenue, he wrested the phone from the woman’s hand and fled, police said. The victim sustained a minor arm injury.

The suspect was described as about 20 years old, 5-foot-9 and 140 pounds. He was wearing a black hoodie, gray jeans and black sneakers.

Brooklyn

The suspect pictured above tried but failed to steal a bracelet from a patron at a Dunkin’ Donuts in BedfordStu­yvesant, police said.

The victim was on line in the shop on Atlantic Avenue near Saratoga Avenue at 10:25 a.m. Monday when the suspect made a grab to snatch the jewelry off her wrist, cops said.

The bracelet didn’t come off and the thief fled.

Cops believe he’s about 40 years old, 5-foot-5 and 150 pounds. He was wearing a purple baseball cap, blue jeans and a red shirt.

Manhattan

A 56-year-old man was stabbed at a porn shop in Chelsea early Saturday, cops said.

The victim was knifed in the neck at about 12:40 a.m. by a man in his 20s at the shop on Sixth Avenue near West 23rd Street.

The suspect fled the store, which offers the typical fare of private booths, adult DVDs and lingerie.

Witnesses told police the attacker was wearing a green shirt, black jacket and blue jeans.

The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.

Cops couldn’t immediatel­y say what prompted the stabbing.

But sources said neither the suspect nor the victim worked at the shop.

The suspect pictured above has been stealing property at high-profile Upper West Side locations, including buildings at Lincoln Center and Fordham University, cops said.

Cops say the woman first struck on Aug. 1 at about 3:45 p.m., taking a purse from a locker at an Equinox Fitness club on Columbus Avenue.

Then at about 1 p.m. on Aug. 5, she allegedly stole electronic­s and $10 from the building at Lincoln Center that houses David Geffen Hall.

On Aug. 19, the crook made off with a wallet from 1841 Broadway, a mixed commercial and residentia­l building just off Columbus Circle, cops said.

At about 2:45 p.m. on Sept. 6, she stole credit cards from a Fordham University administra­tive building on Columbus Ave., authoritie­s said.

Cops are looking for a woman who beat a 75-yearold man with her shoe on a Midtown subway train.

The suspect got into an argument with the victim on board a 2 train at about 11:45 p.m. on Aug. 19, police said.

When the train pulled into the Times Square station, the thug whacked the senior on the head and fled.

The victim was treated at Lenox Hill Hospital for a cut to the head.

The woman is believed to be about 25 years old, 5-foot-7 and 120 pounds.

At the time of the assault, she sported long black hair and wore a white dress.
