NICE THIEVAGE!
Cops seek bust in Bx. club crime
A buxom, black-haired bandit is being sought, likely by every police officer in the city, for swiping a purse at a Bronx nightclub.
The sneaky sexpot is wanted, desperately, for slipping behind the counter of the Casa Blanca Restaurant & Lounge around 12:39 a.m. Jan. 8 and taking a worker’s bag, which contained credit cards and car keys.
The crook was caught on surveillance video wearing a come-hither smile, very low-cut top, tight pants and heels.
She had on a “light-colored blouse with a tie knot and gold shiny legging pants,” according to an NYPD description.
Cops added that the pretty pilferer is around 5foot-5 and has straight black hair.
Footage released by the NYPD showed bright strobe lights flashing all over the popular South Bronx night club at the time of the theft, likely adding to the confusion when the female employee’s purse was discovered missing and helping the suspect make her getaway from the club at 340 Walton Ave. in the Mott Haven neighborhood.
“The female fled the location to parts unknown with the property,” according to an NYPD statement.
The club is “a restaurant by day and a club at night,’’ according to its posting on Eventective.com.
The thief will face grand-larceny charges among other raps when caught, law-enforcement sources said.
