Manhattan

An off-duty auxiliary cop was assaulted on a subway train in Chinatown, police sources said.

The 18-year-old victim was riding a northbound 4 train when a thug started harassing him at about 8 a.m. Wednesday.

“Don’t bump into me. We’ll fight all the way to 14th Street,” the assailant said just before punching the victim in the face.

The brute fled the train at the 14th Street station and the victim refused medical attention, cops said.

Brooklyn

Five young punks assaulted a 56-year-old man who had intervened as they were harassing an elderly straphange­r on a subway train in ProspectLe­fferts Gardens, authoritie­s said.

The victim was on board aQ train pulling into the Prospect Park station when he saw the teens hassling the elderly man at about 10:40 p.m. on Dec. 10.

When the Samaritan told them to stop, one of the suspects punched him in the face and fled the train at the station.

The conductor helped the victim find a police officer to report the assault, officials said.

The victim went to Kings County Hospital with facial bruising.

A police officer was dragged several feet when a motorist peeled out during a traffic stop in Flatbush, police sources said.

The suspect was pulled over by cops as he was driving a BMW on Ocean Avenue at about 10 p.m. Wednesday.

The driver, Stephen Anderson, 23, exited the car and began to walk away before the cops ordered him to get back inside, sources said.

When he re-entered, he pretended to look for his ID but then put the car into gear and fleeing.

A sergeant attempted to hold onto the car but was dragged 10 feet, scraping his legs, sources said.

Anderson got away and the cop was treated for minor injuries at Kings County Hospital.

A knife-wielding thug robbed two men in a building at a Coney Island housing project, authoritie­s said.

The suspect was engaged in conversati­on with the two men, 28 and 37, before pulling a knife on them in the hallway of the West 25th Street building at the Bernard Haber Houses at 7:15 p.m. on Jan. 5.

The robber told them to hand over cash, then took $40 and a cellphone from one victim, cops said.

Queens

Police arrested the driver who killed a 67year-old man crossing a Jackson Heights street, authoritie­s said.

Dinesh Bhattarai, 45, was driving a Toyota RAV4 along 37th Avenue and struck Henry Boimel while making a right turn onto 76th Street at about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Boimel suffered severe head trauma and was pronounced dead at Elmhurst General Hospital. Bhattarai was charged with failure to yield.

The Bronx

Police are looking for the suspects pictured above who stole cellphones from two stores in Fordham Heights, authoritie­s said.

In the first incident, one of the thieves asked to see an iPhone 7 in a display case at the Call Me Wireless store on East 188th Street at 5:40 p.m. on Jan. 7, then hustled out with it.

Approximat­ely 30 minutes later, the suspects entered the Boost Mobile on Grand Concourse where they again asked to see an iPhone 7, then fled with it.

Both suspects were described as in their early 20s. One was last seen wearing a red and white jacket. The other was wearing a yellow jacket, cops said.

A female thief stole a woman’s wallet at a Crotona Park subway station, authoritie­s said.

The 59-year-old victim was descending the stairs at the Freeman Street station near Southern Boulevard on the 2 and 5 lines when the suspect dug into her bag and took the wallet at 6:20 p.m. on Jan. 10.

The thief was described as in her 20s or 30s and weighing 200 pounds.
