Enabling ‘cookies’

This tough cookie is one smart cookie, too.

The New Jersey Girl Scout whose brutally honest cookie reviews earned her gangbuster sales is now the top all-time seller in the United States.

Charlotte McCourt, 11, has already sold 23,535 boxes of cookies — well above the previous record of 21,447 by an Oklahoma girl in 2014 — and she has until Saturday to keep going.

Her record is not yet official, but her total doesn’t even include all family orders or her final push over the weekend at her troop’s booths in New Jersey.

“I am so happy,” she beamed. “I feel like this will help me get into high school and college.”

Meanwhile, Charlotte (above) shared her review for the S’mores cookie, even though it didn’t make it into her top three, which includes Samoas, Thin Mints and Tagalongs.

“But it is one of the Girl Scouts’ finest cookies,” she said.

Charlotte likes how the two graham crackers pair with the marshmallow and chocolate stuffed between them.

“It wasn’t too sweet. It was just right,” she said, adding that she couldn’t stop herself from indulging in a couple when she first sampled them.

Charlotte’s entrepreneurial prowess made headlines last week after she penned an e-mail to her father’s “rich” longtime pal asking him to buy some cookies — and she included frank feedback about each of the cookies, which she rated on a scale from 1 to 10.

The Toffee-tastic was the only cookie that got a lowly 1. She hilariously described it as a “bleak, flavorless gluten-free wasteland.”

Charlotte may be all business, but it’s for a good cause. She asked her dad’s friend, venture capitalist Jason Mendelson, to donate boxes of the cookies he bought to US troops abroad, a suggestion she makes to other buyers as well.

Her reviews went viral after her dad’s boss, TV personality Mike Rowe, put her e-mail to Mendelson on Facebook, garnering more than 9 million reviews and thousands of shares.

While she doesn’t know if the record includes any perks, she definitely isn’t interested in a lifetime supply of cookies.

“That would be gross,” she said. “I would end up weighing 800 pounds.”
