Sean and Colleen Gaffney welcomed their baby son into the world at 8:49 p.m. on Sunday, while the Massachuse­tts couple’s beloved New England Patriots were down 18 points in the Super Bowl.

But after the Gaffneys’ bundle of joy entered the scene, the Patriots staged a historic comeback. Coincidenc­e?

“Literally right after he was born, they came back,” Sean Gaffney said.

By the way, his newborn’s name is Brady, after Pats quarterbac­k Tom Brady.

Turns out they didn’t need a bigger boat after all.

The crew of Outcast Sports Fishing in Hilton Head, SC, caught, tagged and released a great white shark — despite it taking a bite out of the boat.

“She bit the boat once, but came in relatively easy,” said the vessel’s captain, Chip Michalove.
