An innocent bystander was shot in the back on a busy Brooklyn sidewalk Wednesday as two gunmen on bicycles opened fire on a rival who was sitting in a car, police said.

The 43-year-old woman was walking on Myrtle Avenue near Knickerbocker Avenue in Bushwick shortly before 4:30 p.m. when the gunmen approached and suddenly opened fire at their intended target, police said.

One of the shots hit the woman in the lower back, surveillance video from a nearby building shows.

The video also shows other bystanders running for their lives as the victim stumbles over toward the Azul Tequila restaurant.

She can be seen bracing herself against the building’s exterior while she holds her back and appears to grimace in pain. Despite her obvious discomfort, she appeared to be calm in the video.

As the victim staggers, a second woman inspects her back and appears to discover the bullet wound before running away, apparently to get assistance, according to the security footage, which was shared with The Post by a nearby business.

The video also depicts two men riding by on bicycles, but law-enforcement officials could not confirm whether the pair were suspects in the shooting or just passers-by.

Noise from the bustling avenue and the elevated L train covered the sounds of the gunplay, and some nearby did not know what had happened until police showed up, according to the manager of the El Charro Bakery next door to the Azul Tequila restaurant.

“We were so busy,” said Antonio Aquino, who was serving customers when the gunmen opened fire. “We almost didn’t hear nothing.”

The victim was taken to Elmhurst Hospital, where she was in stable condition, according to the FDNYs.

The gunmen on the bikes and the target in the car are still at large, cops said.
