MUNN & HER NFL BEAU PACK IT IN

Breakup after she fueled family rift

- By NATALIE O’NEILL

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and actress Olivia Munn are splitting up after their relationship took an off-thefield beating.

“They have amicably ended their relationship of three years,” a friend of the couple told People magazine Friday. “[They] remain close friends and wish nothing but the best for each other moving forward.”

Love got rough when the 36-year-old former HBO “Newsroom” actress became the focal point of a bitter family fight, possibly leading to the downfall of their relationship, according to reports.

The 33-year-old gridiron star became estranged from family members after they warned him they don’t trust Munn and said they don’t approve of the relationship, a source told Us Weekly.

The actress added fuel to the fire by encouraging him to pull away from his family, according to the source.

In January, after the Packers lost to the Falcons in the NFC Championship Game, Munn publicly shunned his relatives by “liking” several socialmedia posts that blasted his family for being a bad influence and a game-day distraction.

“Thank you for standing by Aaron when his own family sold stories to the media in recent weeks and tried very hard to wreck his momentum. He is lucky to have found you. Real love is a gift,” one user wrote — to which Munn gave a thumbs-up. Soon after, she posted a not-so-subtle jab at his family on Instagram, noting Rogers and his team had faced “adversity on and off the field.”

“When he got together with Olivia Munn, his family told him they didn’t trust her and thought she wasn’t with him for the right reasons. That made him furious, and he ended up choosing Olivia over his family,” a source told Us Weekly in January.

Reps for Munn and Rodgers didn’t return requests for comment.
