SF cops rip Pepsi ad

-

The Kendall Jenner Pepsi TV ad that sparked outrage earlier this week could land the company in hot water with cops.

The commercial features actors wearing knockoff San Francisco Police Department uniforms — but the department never gave the company permission, TMZ.com reported.

In the three-minute ad, Jenner joins a peaceful protest and hands a cop a Pepsi. Pepsi took the ad off the air Wednesday, admitting it “missed the mark.”

Critics, including the daughter of Martin Luther King Jr., said the imagery is a tacky evocation of important civil-rights protests.
