CELEBRATE NYC PRIDE!

- — Hannah Sparks

Whoa, Nelly!

Pride Island, a brand-new fund-raising addition to NYC Pride, celebrates music, art and queer culture at Hudson River Park’s Pier 26. Saturday’s headliners are Tegan and Sara; Nelly Furtado closes on Sunday. Ticket $85 and up; Saturday and Sunday, from 2 to 10 p.m. Pier 26 between North Moore and Hubert streets.; NYCPride.org

Hello, everybooty!

There’s no shortage of parties during Pride Week, but the avant-garde LGBT community will probably converge on the Brooklyn Academy of Music’s Everbooty fest, with its four floors of performances, art, readings, DJs and more. $30 for standby tickets. Saturday, doors at 8 p.m., BAM Fisher, 321 Ashland Place, Brooklyn; BAM.org

Dancing in the street

Now in its 24th year, PrideFest promises food, vendors and, this year at least, country and pop singer LeAnn Rimes. Get your face painted with rainbows and dance away the afternoon. Free, Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Hudson Street between Abingdon Square and West 14th Street

Catch the parade

The most inclusive and historic event of Pride Week is the parade, probably the biggest show of gay power in the world. If you can’t come out to the street, watch it on TV. ABC Channel 7 will cover it live between noon and 3 p.m. Sunday at noon, starting at Fifth Avenue and 36th Street, ending at Christopher and Greenwich streets

Bring the family

With activities and games, music, puppets and a visit from some favorite Nickelodeon characters, this free picnic lunch welcomes all ages. In case of rain, the fun moves indoors at the same location. Saturday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Playground at Church of St. Luke in the Fields, 487 Hudson St.; GayCenter.org
