MLB: Bellinger hits for cycle as Dodgers cruise past Marlins Cody Bellinger became the first Dodgers rookie to hit for the cycle and Alex Wood became the first Dodgers pitcher in more than a century to win his first 11 decisions in a season, helping the NL West leaders beat the Marlins, 7-1, Saturday in Miami for their eighth straight victory.

An angry Yasiel Puig took several steps toward the mound after he was nearly hit by a pitch from Miami’s Jose Urena in the first inning. Puig hit two home runs in Los Angeles’ win Friday, including a go-ahead three-run homer in the ninth inning.

In Cincinnati, Anthony Rendon hit his second career grand slam and added a two-run homer, and the Nationals overcame Scooter Gennett’s four-RBI night to hold on for a 10-7 victory over the Reds.

Brian Dozier homered and Eddie Rosario’s two-run double in the sixth inning lifted the Twins to a 4-2 victory over the Astros in Houston. NBA: Rondo agrees to one-year deal with Pelicans

A person with knowledge of the situation told The Associated Press the Pelicans have agreed in principle on a one-year deal with Rajon Rondo.

The Devils have signed No. 1-overall pick Nico Hischier to the maximum three-year, entry-level contract for salary and performanc­e bonuses. The Devils said that Hischier will have an average salary of $925,000.

Fabio Aru was dropped in the last 500 meters of Stage 14 of the Tour de France in Rodez, France, won by Michael Matthews and has relinquish­ed the yellow jersey to Chris Froome.

Aru lost touch with the leaders in the final short, sharp ascent of the Cote de Saint Pierre in the town of Rodez and crossed the line 25 seconds behind Matthews on Saturday.

Babe Parilli, the former Patriots quarterbac­k and backup to Joe Namath in the Jets’ only Super Bowl victory in 1969, died Saturday. He was 87.

A Brazilian court has dismissed the criminal case against U.S. swimmer Ryan Lochte, who had been charged with filing a false robbery report during the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
