FAMILIA REUNION

- By MIKE PUMA mpuma@nypost.com

Jeurys Familia might not be closing games immediately, but says he is ready to contribute to the Mets from the bullpen.

The right-hander will be activated from the disabled list Friday in Washington, after missing the last three months rehabbing from surgery to remove a blood clot from his right shoulder.

“Most important my arm is great,” Familia said before the Mets lost 3-2 to the Diamondbacks at Citi Field.

It’s been a year to forget for Familia, who was suspended 15 games to begin the season for violating MLB’s domestic violence policy. He then made just 11 appearances for the team before incurring numbness in his pitching hand and receiving the diagnosis of a blood clot in his shoulder.

During Familia’s absence the team acquired closer AJ Ramos from the Marlins in an attempt to bolster the bullpen through at least 2018. And for now, at least, Ramos will stay in the closer’s spot.

“[Familia] is still on the comeback trail,” manager Terry Collins said. “We’ll just get him out there and when it looks like he is comfortable, we’ll make decisions then.”

Seth Lugo is scheduled to throw a bullpen session Friday, after which he could be cleared to pitch the nightcap of Sunday’s doubleheader against the Nationals. The right-hander was placed on the disabled list last week with an impingement in his right shoulder, after missing the first two-plus months of the season rehabbing a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament in his elbow.

If Lugo can’t pitch Sunday, the Mets will consider promoting right-hander Marcos Molina from Double-A Binghamton to make the start.

Matt Harvey is scheduled to make his fourth rehab start Saturday for Single-A St. Lucie.

Noah Syndergaard was dispatched to Port St. Lucie, where he is expected to throw live batting practice this weekend.
