In Piscataway, N.J., freshman quarterback Johnathan Lewis ran for four touchdowns and passed for another in part-time action, and Rutgers (1-2) defeated FCS foe Morgan State (0-3) to snap an 11-game losing streak.

In Stony Brook, Joe Carbone threw for three touchdowns to lead the Seawolves (2-1) over Sacred Heart (2-1), which got its only points on Ose Imeokparia’s 1-yard TD run.

E. Washington 56, Fordham 21

In The Bronx, Gage Gubrud passed for three touchdowns and ran for two more and Eastern Washington (1-2) had a school record 10 sacks in defeating Fordham (1-2).

Kevin Anderson passed for two touchdowns for a score for the Rams.

In Washington, Mike White completed 29 of 47 passes for 236 yards and a touchdown and Marist (2-1) held off Georgetown (1-1).

In Syracuse, Eric Dungey rushed for one touchdown and threw for another, Dontae Strickland scored twice, and the Orange (2-1) bounced back from a home loss to Middle Tennessee by beating Central Michigan (2-1).
