Duffer Don takes swing at Hill in retweet

President Trump on Sunday retweeted a video doctored to show him whacking a golf ball that appears to knock Hillary Clinton down after striking her in the back as she enters a jet.

“Donald Trump’s amazing golf swing #CrookedHillary,” said the tweet posted Wednesday by user @Fuctupmind and retweeted by Trump, who was spending the weekend at his golf resort in Bedminister, NJ.

The first part of the video shows Trump wearing tan slacks, a blue blazer and his trademark red “Make America Great Again” hat, teeing off on a golf course. The video then shows Clinton tripping as a golf ball flies right into her.

Democrats weren’t giving Trump a mulligan.

Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) suggested Trump is an “ass” for sharing the video. “clASSy,” he wrote on Twitter.

Rep. Adam Schiff — the ranking Democrat on the House In- telligence Committee, which is among the congressional panels investigating Russian interference in the 2016 election and any links to the Trump campaign — called it “juvenile” behavior.

“It is distressing to have a president that frankly will tweet and retweet things as juvenile as that,” Schiff, of California, said on ABC’s “This Week.” “It doesn’t help, I think, in terms of his stature and doesn’t help in terms of the stature of our whole country.”

The video of Clinton is from 2011, when the then-secretary of state tripped entering a plane in Yemen. By late Sunday afternoon, the retweet had more than 17,000 replies.

Trump has retweeted edited videos before. In July he posted a video from his appearance at a “WrestleMania” event years ago edited to look like he was bodyslamming a man whose face was replaced with the CNN logo.
