Chic grocer checking out Hudson Yards

- By JENNIFER GOULD KEIL

A Brooklyn-based grocer with a three-star Michelin restaurant is in serious talks to open in Hudson Yards.

Brooklyn Fare, an upscale supermarket for urban hipsters, already has a Midtown location nearby at 431 W. 37th St. that’s home to one of the city’s most expensive eateries, Chef ’s Table At Brooklyn Fare. It prices a tasting menu with 12 or more courses at $330 per person, including tip but not tax and drinks.

Sources say the new concept for One Hudson Yards, by the High Line, will be more affordable and accessible in a giant, 12,000-squarefoot, indoor-and-outdoor space that will combine a grocery store with a restaurant.

One Hudson Yards’ broker, Ross Burack of Winick Realty, declined to comment, as did Related Cos.

Sugarcane raw bar grill, a Miamibased celeb hotspot with a Las Vegas outpost, is launching its first New York location on Monday.

The upscale eatery — favored by Jennifer Lopez, Tyson Beckford, Miami Heat’s Dwyane Wade and former Heat player Chris Bosh — is opening at 55 Water St. in Dumbo — right by Cecconi’s (another Miami import) on the Brooklyn waterfront.

WE HEAR ... that Robin and Andrea McBride — sisters who grew up on different continents and didn’t meet until 2009 — now own the largest African-American female winery.

They’ve launched the McBride Sisters Collection, with grapes grown near Robin’s hometown of Monterey, Calif., and Andrea’s hometown of Marlborough, New Zealand.
