LI prisoner: Brutal guards ‘crucified’ me

-

A Long Island jail inmate claims guards “crucified” him “like Jesus” in his cell after giving him a vicious beating that left the floors bloody, according to a new federal lawsuit.

Eric Slutsky, who is demanding $5 million from Nassau County officials, claims the assault occurred while he was being held on drug charges in August.

“One [guard] . . . knocked me to the ground,” Slutsky, whose nose and jaw were broken, told The Post. “I was . . . a bloody mess, and they literally ripped all my clothing off, so I was just in my briefs.”

He claims in court papers that they dragged him to his cell and handcuffed him to the door, “with his arms spread wide ‘like Jesus.’ ”

“It was kind of like being crucified,” he said Wednesday, adding his toes could barely reach the floor and his knees kept buckling.

“The County does not comment on pending litigation,” Nassau County Attorney Carnell Fosky said in a statement.
