Blue-chip bargain

AI Weiwei — the Chinese dissident artist who sold a set of sculptures in 2015 for $28.6 million — is selling his work on eBay for charity, starting at just $100. Works up for sale include “Odyssey” — a 24-by36-inch print depicting the global refugee condition “in the style of a classic Greco-Roman frieze” with 1,000 copies available for $100 a pop. The other is “Artist’s Hand,” a sculpture of Weiwei’s hand giving the finger, with a run of 1,000 at $675 each. The proceeds will support the Public Art Fund’s upcoming Weiwei exhibition — “Good Fences Make Good Neighbors” — at more than 300 locations in New York between Oct. 12 and Feb. 11.
