Filling Hef ’s slippers
RAPHAEL Mazzucco seems to have inherited Hugh Hefner’s mantle. The photographer — who used to specialize in swimsuits and lingerie — also specialized in models before shifting to fine art. In his upcoming book, “25 Years of Portraits,” Pamela Anderson rhapsodizes: “With his sly thoughts and wicked surprises, we share an eternal bond, entranced as we are by pure mischievousness.” Alessandra Ambrosio recalls a shoot with Gisele Bündchen (left) and other models in Barbados when a hurricane forced them to evacuate. “I was so scared, but [Raphael] kept me and the rest of the crew calm until we arrived at our destination,” Ambrosio said. “As soon as we were out of harm’s way, he started a slumber party, and we found ourselves jumping on beds and having pillow fights.” Expect some supermodels at Mazzucco’s show opening Thursday at the Louis K. Meisel Gallery on Prince Street.
