EMMY Awardwinni­ng documentar­y filmmaker Liz Gar

Garbus, who co-founded Moxie Firecracke­r Films with fellow documentar­y powerhouse Rory Kennedy, won an Emmy for 2015’s “What Happened, Miss Simone?” about singer Nina Simone. Other notable credits include “Bobby Fischer Against the World” (2011), about the late chess master, and “Ghosts of Abu Ghraib,” a 2007 examinatio­n of the Iraqi prison’s abuse scandal. Her three-story townhouse at 613 11th St. — half a block from Prospect Park — has been fully renovated; there’s lovely millwork, central air, a security system and surround sound. There are five bedrooms, 2½ bathrooms and its original carved wood staircase. The listing brokers are Corcoran’s Jessica Buchman and Tim Rettaliata.
