NCAA: Pitino cashed in on Addias deal

Rick Pitino, the suspended Lousiville men’s basketball coach, made 98 percent of the cash provided by Addias, according to the Courier-Journal. In 2015-16, a contract obtained by the paper said, he received $1.5 million under his personal services agreement and the university got $25,000. In 2014-15, it was $1.5 million to Pitino and $10,000 to Louisville.

Rutgers athletic director Pat Hobbs was given a new contract less than two years after he took over the department that was reeling from a football scandal.
