Eagles better in bird battle
The North Star from North coast Sports Service joins The Post’ s college and NFL bet tor’ s guides for 2017. Got on cs ports. com to view a sample of the Power Sweep news letter.
EAGLES (-6¹/₂) over Cardinals: The Eagles won outright as a 2-point ’dog in last week’s picks behind a newly-found running game that collected 214 yards. They return home to take on a Cardinals squad that easily could be sitting at 0-4 this season (OT wins over the Colts and 49ers). With Arizona covering just three of its past 12 games overall and Philadelphia currently looking like one of the strongest teams in the NFC, the smart money will be on the home team in this one.
COLTS (-1) over 49ers: The Colts actually led at halftime a week ago in Seattle as nearly a two-touchdown ’dog before falling on hard times in the second half. The 49ers dropped an overtime contest in the desert against the Cardinals. San Francisco is searching for its first win of 2017, and it is on a 3-9 ATS run against the AFC. We’ll go ahead and back the Colts here — not only have they done well outside of their conference (7-3 ATS versus the NFC), they also get a tired 49ers squad playing a second of three consecutive road games.
